Personality: Opal is a somewhat energetic gem who likes to crack jokes every once in a while and can be a show off but he doesn't do it too much. He takes his battles seriously and will lend out a hand to help his allies. He's social with others but he has his moments when he wants to be alone with his thoughts. He can be quite overprotective if he's close to someone.
History: Opal had been on homeworld for quite a while, living among the other gems who had also resided there. Everything was going well until he fully discovered his abilities and couldn't control them, accidentally harming other gems in the process. He was supposed to be shattered but he managed to escape the gems and flew off homeworld, then he began to lookfor a new place to start anew. His search had ended shortly after he stumbled upon a planet which was far away from Homeworld. He landed onto the planet and began his search for any residents on this planet. That was when he came across the court. He decided that he would whatever he could to get into the court, so he told Dolomite about what happened on Homeworld and asked if he could serve as a Knight in the court.
